Advertising platform policies and eligibility

Review business eligibility, verification and ownership conditions before choosing account services.

Policy sources reviewed 29 October 2026 · Confirm current account-specific requirements with the platform.

Check the actual business activity

Policy eligibility depends on the advertiser, product, destination and campaign geography. Finance, forex and crypto may require licensing or platform certification and may be prohibited in some markets. Account ownership never substitutes for those requirements. Review the official rules for the intended country and product before payment or launch.

Keep access separate from ownership

Google documents account administrator transfer and manager-account ownership as distinct workflows. Meta's shared-access arrangements leave the ad account in the original business portfolio. TikTok Business Center supports permissions and collaboration, but that does not establish an unrestricted resale right. Confirm uncertain Microsoft, Taboola, Snapchat or Outbrain ownership arrangements directly with the platform.

Confirm permissions before agreeing a purchase

Ask for the actual account owner, included assets, billing responsibilities and supported handover process. The absence of a publicly located prohibition is not authorization. Platform policies change; refer to the official sources below and the account-specific support response rather than treating any provider's account label as permission.
